The 9th National Conference of the Cantabrian Association for Respiratory System Research (ACINAR) was held on February 23rd and 24th under the title "The Art of Breathing" at the Paraninfo de la Magdalena in Santander, bringing together over one hundred healthcare professionals.

The opening ceremony featured the participation of César Pascual Fernández, Regional Minister of Health; Zulema Gancedo González, Councillor for Social Services, Health, and Equality of the Santander City Council; Mª Luz Fernández, President of the Official College of Nurses of Cantabria; Montalbán Coral, Representative of the Medical College of Cantabria; and Juan Luis García Rivero, President of ACINAR.

Throughout the event, key topics such as asthma, COPD, biological treatments, environmental pollutants, and vaccines were discussed. Additionally, practical workshops were held on diagnosis, nutrition, physical exercise, and the management of respiratory emergencies.
