It has now been a month since the 14th National Congress on Pediatric Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Pain Therapy of SEDAR concluded.

A congress filled with emotions, held at the Paraninfo of the University of Zaragoza on November 16, 17, and 18, 2023.

Designed to address the challenges and advancements in pediatric patient care, the congress was a resounding success, attracting anesthesiologists from specialized, mixed, and non-specialized centers.

This edition’s exceptionally comprehensive program covered all relevant aspects of pediatric anesthesia, from medical and surgical areas to both complex and simple procedures.

The active participation of over 300 attendees in roundtable discussions and pre-congress workshops further enriched the experience, encouraging knowledge exchange and addressing key concerns.

Renowned national and international experts contributed by sharing their valuable experiences and expertise, enhancing the scientific level of the event. The pre-congress workshops, which offered more seats than in previous editions, were a particular highlight, allowing participants to delve into specific topics and develop practical skills.

The Pediatric Section, a vital part of the community, brought together its members in productive sessions where relevant topics were discussed, and collaboration between active working groups was strengthened. All attendees were encouraged to participate and contribute to this dynamic section.
