The 20th Ibero-American Course on Engineering, Operations, and Environmental Management concluded last Friday.

This course is supported by Puertos del Estado, the Organization of American States (OAS), the University of Cantabria, the Menéndez Pelayo International University, and the Port Authority of Santander.

Around twenty students from various Latin American countries had the privilege of participating in this course, which included an online phase and an in-person phase held at the UIMP Campus from February 19 to March 22.

A part of the AFID Congresos S.L. team collaborated as the academic secretariat of the course, handling teaching coordination, administrative, technical, and logistical tasks, as well as providing support and assistance to students.

During the in-person academic phase, students not only benefited from the knowledge shared by over 80 professors and professionals from the port sector, but also participated in various technical visits, social activities, and study trips.
